We'll probably be at the park around 3:00ish, if not earlier to help people w/make-up, socialize and gather canned food & cash donations for the animal and human charities.

Get a free zombie sticker when you make a donation to 1 of the 4 charities. Each charity will have a different sticker, so bring lots of donations. The charity info can be found in the forums.

The Picador in Iowa City is holding a charity show on Sat. , Sept. 13th.

Doors open at 7:00, show starts at 8:00.

and the possibility of 3 more!!

There will be a donation jar at the door. We suggest $2~3. More is ok as it is for a good cause!

Yesterday I received the news that a friend of mine, who we all called "Thor", who I met at the University of Iowa died suddenly and unexpectedly.

He died as the complications of a flesh eating bacteria (Necrotizing Fasciitis).
He also was a huge motorcycle safety activist.

In his honor, part of the proceeds for next years (2009) march will go to one (or both) of the following charities in addition to a local Iowa City Charity (or 2).
